Dubai’s MFC goes 100% renewable

X-NOOR, a joint venture between X-ELIO and DUTCO, has signed a 20-year agreement with Modern Freight Company (MFC) to provide renewable energy for MFC’s Logistics Park and Logistics Center in Dubai. The rooftop solar PV installation is expected to generate 18 GWh of energy over 20 years, powering the warehouse with 100% renewable energy and significantly reducing CO2 emissions. X-NOOR operates in Riyadh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, and Bahrain, and focuses on sustainable solar solutions. MFC is a leading logistics company in the UAE, has received numerous awards for its sustainability efforts.
