India-headquartered Acme Solar Holdings Limited commissioned four ISTS-connected SECI projects totaling 1,023 MW / 1,483 MW in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The project, once fully operational, will supply 1,200 MW / 1,752 MW to the central grid, with 177 MW of capacity already energized and in the commissioning process. This increases Acme Solar's total commissioned capacity to 2,540 MW / 3,578 MW. Financed by PFC and REC, the project operates under a 25-year PPA with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a tariff of INR 2.44 per unit. Strategically located in a high solar irradiation zone, it is expected to produce 3,000 MUs of electricity annually, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2.6 million tons per year.
