BayWa r.e. has completed a 54 MWp Agri-PV solar park in Alhendín, Spain, for VELUX Group, which is recently connected to the local grid. This project supports VELUX’s goal of 100% renewable electricity in Europe. The park is equipped with over 85,000 solar panels, and generates 96.8 GWh annually, powering approximately 24,700 households. A second solar park in Gerena, also part of the PPA, awaits regulatory approval and is expected to be completed by 2025, with a capacity of about 60 MWp.
