LONGi, a China-based solar technology manufacturer, has announced that its BC module portfolio has received three awards at the All Quality Matters Solar & ESS Congress 2025 organized by TÜV Rheinland in China. The Hi-MO 9 module was granted the 'Ultra Quality PV Module' award, with validation conducted in a project that was led by Inner Mongolia Energy Group, where field trials showed it has delivered 2.45% higher generation per kilowatt and 9.05% more power per unit area compared with TOPCon modules. Independent assessments by Enertis Applus+, a Spain-based renewable energy consulting firm, and IPVF, a France-based PV research institute, confirmed the module has demonstrated lower levelized cost of electricity advantages. The Hi-MO X10 Lightweight module was awarded the 'Lightweight PV Module' title as it achieved 24.8% efficiency and reduced weight to 7.2 kg/㎡, a 42% decrease compared with conventional modules. The Hi-MO X6 Max Anti-dust module was recognized with the 'Outdoor Energy Yield' award for its rainfall-based frame design. By Q1 2025, LONGi had shipped more than 30 GW of BC modules across 10,000 PV plants worldwide.
