A subsidiary of the Dutch multinational SHV Energy, SunSource Energy has commissioned a 21 MWp solar power plant in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadusate of Inida Spanning 50 acres, this project will generate approximately 760 million kWh of clean energy over its lifetime and offset up to 700 million kg of CO2 emissions, equivalent to planting 700,000 trees. The plant’s capacity has been fully contracted by leading industries in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Automotive, and FMCG.SunSource has a 500 MW of solar footprint across India factoring in the deployed, contacted and under-development.
