SUEZ and ENGIE have partnered with the signing of their first two corporate photovoltaic Power Purchase Agreements (cPPAs). These agreements focus on renewable energy production at non-hazardous waste storage sites. Their joint plans include operationalizing 14 solar photovoltaic facilities by 2026, in addition to the existing four, with a combined capacity nearing 180 MWp. This collaboration aligns closely with SUEZ’s sustainability roadmap, aiming to increase its electricity consumption from sustainable sources to 70% globally and achieve 100% in Europe by 2030.
