Arevon Energy, Inc., a leading US-based renewable energy developer, has launched the 251 MW DC Gibson Solar Project in Gibson County, Indiana, with a $250 million investment. As per the company, this initiative is set to create over 250 full-time construction jobs and more than $83 million in payments to the local government. Additionally, local landowners will receive ongoing payments, allowing them to diversify their income while maintaining agricultural activities. Once operational, the Gibson Solar Project will provide clean energy to over 30,000 homes in Indiana annually. According to Arevon Energy, the project is being constructed by US-based Signal Energy, while Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) will own and operate the facility post-construction. This project represents Arevon’s fourth solar venture underway in Indiana.
