Encavis Asset Management, an investment provider for renewable energies, has begun constructing a 260 MW solar park in Germany, one of the largest in the country. Located near Berlin, the Bartow solar plant will generate 270,000 MWh annually, enough to power 96,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by 100,000 tons annually. Construction will take place in two phases, starting in March 2024, with commissioning anticipated in summer of 2025. The company states that this project is a flagship project within its Encavis Infrastructure Fund IV portfolio.
