Bunge, a global agribusiness, food, and ingredients company, has signed a 10-year agreement with Genneia to source renewable electricity for its plants in Argentina. Starting in March 2024, the deal covers facilities in Campana, Ramallo, San Jerónimo Sud, and TFA (Terminal de Fertilizados Argentinos S.A.) in Puerto General San Martín. This renewable energy supply, sourced from Genneia's wind and solar farms, will account for 58% of the plants' annual electricity consumption and around 40% of Bunge's total electricity usage in Argentina.
