Qcells, a prominent U.S. clean energy solutions provider, is set to collaborate with SOLARCYCLE, a cutting-edge solar recycling company, in a major partnership. This marks the first-ever alliance between a major solar manufacturer and an advanced solar recycler in the United States. The collaboration aims to establish a circular, clean energy supply chain, fostering job creation and reducing reliance on imported raw materials. The recycling process, leveraging SOLARCYCLE's patented technology, is projected to extract over 95% of the value from decommissioned Qcells’ panels—significantly surpassing the industry norm of approximately 50%. This strategic move reinforces Qcells’ dedication to sustainability, ensuring efficient recycling and conservation of raw materials.
