ACCIONA Energía's 150MW Daanbantayan Solar Power Project in Cebu, Philippines, has been granted 'Green Lane' status by the Board of Investments (BOI), streamlining the permitting process and expediting the project’s development. With a $130 million investment, the project is expected to create numerous jobs during its construction and operational phases. It aligns with the Philippine government’s goals to increase renewable energy capacity and support sustainable economic growth. ACCIONA's project will primarily supply energy through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with local electricity cooperative CEBECO II.
