Eurobank A.E. and the Greek Public State have partnered with Enipeas Single-Member S.A., a subsidiary of Lightsource bp, under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan ‘Greece 2.0’. Eurobank solely finances the Enipeas project, one of Europe’s largest solar ventures, with a capacity of 560 MW. Spanning Larissa and Fthiotida, the project comprises a 400 MW southern cluster and a 160 MW northern cluster over 6,926 acres using 968,630 PV modules. Expected to connect to the grid by 2026, it will generate 0.90 TWh annually, powering 225,000 homes and avoiding 379 kt CO2 emissions in its initial year. The €395.15 million investment, funded partly by Eurobank and RRF resources, supports Greece’s green transition. This deal marks Lightsource bp’s expansion in Europe and Greece.
