Zoomlion Heavy Industry, headquartered in Changsha, China, has implemented an 85 MW distributed solar power system across its Smart Industrial City. The distributed photovoltaic (PV) system spans four parks, including Concrete, Mobile Crane, Earthmoving Machinery, and Aerial Work Platform, covering 400,000 square meters. This rooftop system integrates solar energy into operations, improving energy efficiency and reducing dependency on traditional power sources. It supports the application for over 6,500 green certificates annually while contributing to operational cost reductions. In 2024, Zoomlion expanded its focus on renewable energy and introduced changes across its production and supply chain processes.
