X-ELIO, headquartered in Spain, has sold a 50 MW solar plant in Almeria to Germany-based Tion Renewables. The plant is operational sincefrom 2023 and can power 25,000 households annually through a secured PPA. This acquisition strengthens Tion Renewables’ presence in Spain and aligns with its goal of becoming a leading European renewable energy producer. X-ELIO continues to develop high-quality renewable projects globally. The transaction is expected to close by February, pending customary conditions.
