X-ELIO, a Spain-based player in the renewable energy sector, has secured a PPA with Google to deliver 128 MW of solar power from its Bell Solar PV Plant in Texas. The solar facility, which is set to commence operations in the latter half of 2025, will support Google’s Texas operations. The agreement involves a physical PPA, ensuring that X-ELIO will directly deliver power to Google through a shared network. Additionally, the Bell PV Plant will be equipped with a 100 MW storage system to provide continuous energy support, addressing demand around the clock. The company is advancing its position in the US with over 5 GW in its project pipeline, including 1 GW expected to reach Notice to Proceed (NTP) by the end of 2024.
