VSB Group is set to construct a 60 MW photovoltaic park in Sicily, marking its first such project on the island. The Ramacca plant will occupy 100 hectares and begin operations by 2025, generating around 117,000 MWh of electricity annually, enough to power 40,000 homes. This development is part of VSB Italy’s broader portfolio of 1.8 GW of wind and solar projects under development. The project aligns with Italy’s objective to add 50 GW of photovoltaic capacity by 2030, supporting energy independence and stable electricity prices in Europe.
