Voltalia, an international renewable energy company, announced the start of construction for three solar power plants in southern France, with a combined capacity of 25.1 megawatts. The first project, a 10.7 MW photovoltaic park on a 15-hectare agricultural wasteland, includes panel trackers and an irrigation system to revive farming activities. The other two projects, with capacities of 8.2 MW and 6.2 MW, feature fixed-structure solar farms. Collectively, the projects will produce enough electricity to meet the annual consumption needs of over 18,000 people and reduce CO2 emissions by 7,500 tons.
