France based Voltalia and its Services subsidiary Renvolt have signed a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the ESB Wexford Hub solar project in Ireland. ESB is the project owner and client, commissioning the development of the 124.2 MW solar power plant in County Wexford. Under the agreement, Renvolt will execute the full EPC and will assume responsibility for operations and maintenance (O&M). The company plans to mobilise both local and international teams to ensure timely delivery and operational reliability. With the addition of Wexford Hub, Renvolt’s total capacity currently under construction for third parties now exceeds 1 GW. Recently, Voltalia began construction of a 43 MW solar PV plant combined with battery energy storage in French Guiana.
ESB awards 124.2 MW solar EPC to Renvolt in Ireland
Renvolt, a subsidiary of Voltalia, has signed a contract with ESB to build the 124.2 MW Wexford Hub solar plant in Ireland and will also handle its operations and maintenance.
