Vitesco Technologies, a global powertrain solutions provider, has commissioned a 2.6 MW solar plant at its Seguin, Texas facility. Built in collaboration with Big Sun Solar and Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative, itconsists of 4,800 solar panels spanning 12 acres. The plant generates 4,800 MWh annually, enough to power 330 Texas homes, and offsets 13% of Vitesco Technologies’ energy consumption, reducing emissions equivalent to removing nearly 600 cars from the road for a year.
