VINCI, a global player in concessions, construction and energy, has acquired Helios Nordic Energy, a Swedish company specializing in solar farms and energy storage solutions. The acquisition, facilitated by its subsidiary SunMind, involves a complete purchase of Helios for €73 million. Initially, Magnora ASA held a 40% stake in Helios, with additional minority investors. The deal includes an upfront payment of €73 million along with a portion of Helios’s revenues over five years. Pending regulatory approval, the transaction is slated for completion by June. This acquisition strengthens SunMind’s capabilities in renewable energy, complementing its ongoing development of a 100 MWp PV project at Skavsta airport in Sweden.
