Vesper Energy has sold two significant PJM solar assets, Gaucho Solar and Nestlewood Solar, to Octopus Energy Generation, which manages a $9 billion green energy portfolio. Nestlewood Solar, situated on 610 acres in Ohio, offsets power for a Fortune 100 e-commerce leader and supports local employment and biodiversity. Gaucho Solar, covering 68 acres in Pennsylvania, aids the University of Pittsburgh’s sustainability goals with 55,000 solar panels. Combined, the projects generate 100 MWac annually, powering 20,000 homes. Vesper Energy will continue managing both sites to ensure a smooth transition and community support. This sale marks Vesper’s second major deal in 2024.
