Vena Energy, a sustainable energy provider across the Asia-Pacific region, has partnered with MGen Renewable Energy Inc. the renewable energy arm of Meralco PowerGen Corporation, to jointly develop the 550MW Bugallon Solar Power Project in Pangasinan, Philippines. This investment will see construction commence this year, with commercial operations expected to begin by the fourth quarter of 2025. The Bugallon Solar Project, developed by Vena Energy, will be one of the largest solar power plants in the Philippines, contributing to the country’s renewable energy goals. MGen, a subsidiary of Manila Electric Company, focuses on delivering reliable and cost-competitive power using advanced technologies.
