UGE International, headquartered in New York, has achieved commercial operation of six solar projects totaling 16 MW across Maryland, Oregon, Texas, and Maine. These projects expand UGE’s operating portfolio to 24 MW, providing power for 4,000 homes and offsetting over 19,500 metric tons of CO2 annually. Highlights include Maryland’s first two community solar installations, Oregon’s largest project under UGE’s IPP model, and a Texas project that secured a Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant. Maine’s additions bring the state portfolio to 7.5 MW, with one installation on a former concrete site. Two Maryland projects qualify for the Energy Community Tax Credit under the Inflation Reduction Act, while one Maine project repurposes a former industrial site.
