China-based Astronergy, a major player in solar technology, has unveiled its ASTRO N 2000V high-voltage PV modules. According to Astronergy, these modules reduce electrical component requirements, including inverters and combiner boxes, resulting in significant balance-of-system (BOS) cost savings and reduced transmission losses. In September 2024, the modules earned the "High-voltage PV Module Performance AMQ Award" for successfully passing rigorous testing like impulse voltage and enhanced PID. Certified by TÜV Rheinland in October 2024, these ASTRO N modules employ advanced TOPCon 4.0 technology and large rectangular wafers to optimize energy output. With this certification, Astronergy sets a new standard for high-voltage PV systems in large-scale solar installations worldwide, says Astronergy.
