TrinaSolar plans to expand hybrid solar projects across Southeast Asia, leveraging the success of a 100 MWac hybrid solar farm in Malaysia. This facility, developed by Cypark Resources Berhad, integrates 35 MW floating and 65 MW ground-mounted solar panels using Trinasolar’s high-efficiency 210 Vertex 590 – 595W bifacial modules. With an efficiency of 21.4%, these modules lower energy and system costs, contributing to substantial CO2 emission reductions. The project highlights the potential of hybrid solar solutions in land-constrained, energy-demanding Southeast Asia.
