Trina Solar has partnered with Casella Family Brands to launch a 5.7 MW solar farm near its production site in Yenda, New South Wales, Australia. According to the company, this project, executed with Next Generation Electrical (NGE) as the EPC provider, features 8,730 Trina Solar low voltage Vertex 650-655W (DEG21C.20) bifacial modules installed on approximately one hundred TrinaTracker Vanguard 2P trackers. The installation is expected to produce 11.53GWh of electricity annually, meeting about 35% of the Yenda facility’s power needs. This marks the Asia Pacific region’s first integration of Vanguard 2P trackers with large format low voltage 650-655W modules. Casella Family Brands aims to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieve 100% by 2050, commencing with this solar initiative.
