TotalEnergies invests £20 million in Xlinks First Limited's Morocco-UK renewable energy project. The Morocco-based renewable project, also backed by Octopus Energy and TAQA, combines solar and wind energy to transmit green electricity to the UK through HDVC subsea cables and a large battery storage system. Once commissioned, the plant is anticipated to power over 7 million British homes.
