TotalEnergies, a France-based energy company, has partnered with Côte d’Ivoire-based rubber producer, L’Ivoirienne d’Hévéa (IDH) to develop a 5 MW solar power plant to supply IDH’s rubber production site with renewable energy. This project involves the installation of over 8,200 photovoltaic panels across the rooftops and ground area of IDH’s new factory. The initiative is part of IDH’s strategy to enhance sustainability in its production processes. TotalEnergies will handle the design, construction, and operation of the solar system, ensuring it runs efficiently over time through dedicated monitoring and maintenance.
