The Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) announced a tender for solar systems under Section 29 (1) EEG in Germany. Several changes introduced by Solar Package I could not apply as state aid approval from the European Commission was pending. Approval was required before May 31, 2025, for the increased tender volume and reduced minimum bid volume. Without approval, the tender volume remained 282.72 MW and the minimum bid volume stayed 1 MW. The bidding deadline shifted to June 2, 2025, as June 1 fell on a Sunday. The maximum bid value was set at 10.40 cents per kilowatt-hour. The Bundesnetzagentur required electronic submissions using specified forms, excluding handwritten or outdated formats. Recently, ENVIRIA has secured 53 MW rooftop solar in BNetzA Germany tender.
