Tesla and Zelestra, headquartered in Spain, have signed a 57 MW AC PPA to supply renewable energy for Tesla’s operations. The agreement ensures Tesla receives approximately 130 GWh of renewable energy annually from three solar plants in Ciudad Real, Spain. These plants—Brazatortas I, II, and IV—have a combined capacity of over 74 MW DC and an annual production of 146 GWh. Construction has begun immediately following the PPA signing, ensuring timely execution. Zelestra, with a 28 GW project portfolio across 13 countries, is developing, commercializing, and operating large-scale renewable projects. In Spain, Zelestra manages more than 5 GW of renewable projects. Zelestra has recently partnered with Shell to launch a 54 MW solar power project in Spain.
