Louth Callan Renewables, headquartered in Connecticut, has started construction on the 28 MW Mousam Solar project in Sanford, Maine, covering 110 acres. The project will supply clean energy to homes and businesses. The project is said to create 100 construction jobs and contribute to the local economy through tax revenue and lease payments. Mousam Solar is part of Louth Callan Renewables’ expansion into utility-scale solar projects of 30 MW or more across North America. The company has recently completed the 30 MW Leeds Solar project in Maine as part of this initiative.
