Italy-based Juwi Energie Rinnovabili S.r.l., part of Germany-based Juwi GmbH, finalized the sale of eight authorized photovoltaic projects totaling 50.5 MW in Northern Italy to Kelag Italia S.r.l., a subsidiary of Austria’s Kelag Group. The transaction was supported by L&B Partners S.p.A. as financial advisor and Dentons as legal counsel to Juwi. ADVANT Nctm advised on M&A and regulatory aspects. Kelag stated it planned EUR 3.8 billion (~$4.32 billion) in green energy investments by 2034, focusing on hydropower, wind, and photovoltaics. Juwi, which also powers 340 MW solar projects for Teraco, Sasol, and Glencore, finalized the sale of eight photovoltaic projects totaling 50.5 MW to Kelag Italia.
