DSD Renewables, a New York-based company specializing in clean energy infrastructure, has developed a 6.5 MW solar portfolio for Caesars Entertainment in Atlantic City. The project was recognized as a Top Project of the Year in the 2025 Environment + Energy Leader Awards. It supplies 9,700 MWh of electricity annually, meeting 5.5% of Caesars’ total energy demand across its Atlantic City properties. Installations span Caesars Atlantic City and Harrah’s, including three garage canopies and a rooftop system. Systems were engineered to withstand coastal conditions, high wind loads, and structural constraints. Construction required approvals from the FAA and Casino Redevelopment Authority and was scheduled to avoid disrupting around-the-clock operations. Rooftop installation at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center is expected to be completed in 2025. DSD Renewables also received a 2024 award for its Bishop Ranch solar-plus-storage project.
