Italy-based BNZ inaugurated three photovoltaic plants in Lazio, Italy, with a total capacity of 135 MW. The solar farms, located in Rinaldone, Camposcala, and Mandrione, aimed to cover nearly 60% of the electricity needs of Montalto di Castro and Viterbo while reducing CO2 emissions by 66,187 tons annually, equivalent to 3,940 return flights between Rome and Los Angeles for a family of four. The project created around 200 jobs and included partnerships with local farmers to support the environment. BNZ also funded solar systems for public schools in Viterbo. BNZ also inaugrated 36 MW solar plant in Spain.
