Ameresco wins 2025 awards for Fort Detrick VPP & London Stadium solar

Ameresco, Inc., a US-based clean energy solutions provider, was recognized in the 2025 Environment+Energy Leader Awards for two distinct projects. At Fort Detrick, Ameresco and CPower installed a 6 MW / 6 MWh battery storage system integrated with an 18.6 MW DC solar facility. The project was awarded Top Software Implementation Project of the Year, as per the awards committee. At London Stadium, Ameresco implemented a 6,500 square-meter solar PV system equipped with SolarEdge inverters and optimizers. The system is expected to generate 0.85 million kWh annually and was named Top Energy Innovation Project. According to Ameresco, both projects demonstrate scalable clean energy applications supporting grid resilience. Ameresco has also delivered a 1.2 MW photovoltaic project at Killeen Airport, expanding its portfolio of public infrastructure energy solutions.
