Sungrow Power Supply, a China-based solar inverter manufacturer, was named a finalist for The smarter E AWARD 2025. The nomination was in the "Photovoltaics" category for its SG350HX-20 string inverter. The inverter targeted utility-scale projects and featured high power density with high string voltage and current compatibility. Sungrow stated that it included up to six MPPTs with 99% maximum efficiency, 75 A per MPPT, and 30 input options to suit various DC/AC ratios. Operation and maintenance were supported by insulation monitoring, PV curve diagnostics, and a reverse-blast fan for cleaning. Sungrow stated that its key functions include night-time reactive power (Q at night), power line communication, and active maintenance tools. Winners will be announced on May 6 at Messe München in Germany.
