RenewSys, a leading Indian manufacturer of PV modules, has been named a Top Performer in the 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard published by PV Evolution Labs (PVEL). PVEL states this comes after a series of intense tests under its independent Product Qualification Program to assess long-term module survivability. RenewSys’ modules were subjected to 600 thermal cycles, 2,000 hours of damp heat exposure, and high-velocity hail impact, all exceeding standard certification requirements. PVEL said that modules showing minimal degradation across these tests qualify for the Top Performer designation. The scorecard also confirmed that the bill of materials used in RenewSys’ production matches commercial-scale output, reducing risks tied to material changes. Earlier this year, RenewSys earned a 5-star BEE rating for its 144X TOPCon 600 W solar module in India.
