GoodWe, a China-based manufacturer of PV inverters, has launched its fourth-generation single-phase on-grid inverters, DNS G4 and MS G4. The DNS G4 has a capacity range of 3 to 6 kW with two MPPTs, while the MS G4 ranges from 7.5 to 10 kW with up to three MPPTs. GoodWe has supported 20 A input current per MPPT on both models, allowing compatibility with 182/210 mm high-power PV modules. Each inverter has allowed 200% PV array oversizing and retained a wide voltage range with a 50 V low startup voltage. The DNS G4 is 31% lighter than previous models and operates below 25 dB, while the MS G4 remains under 30 dB. GoodWe has integrated AI-enabled AFCI 3.0, Type II AC/DC surge protection, and IP66-rated casing for safety and durability. Both inverters are compatible with Ezlink smart dongle, supporting up to ten parallel units, centralized SEMS+ monitoring, and optional nighttime power supply. Earlier this year, GoodWe introduced the ES Uniq series designed for homes in grid-constrained regions, expanding its residential inverter portfolio.
