GoodWe, a China-based manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage systems, has launched the ES Uniq Series for residential solar-plus-storage systems. The single-phase hybrid inverters offer 3kW to 12kW capacities and support grid-connected, off-grid, and weak-grid operations. GoodWe stated that the inverters allow 200% PV input oversizing and handle 20A DC input per string to increase energy output. Up to six units can be connected in parallel across grid and backup modes to expand system capacity. The ES Uniq Series is compatible with GoodWe’s Lynx A and Lynx U batteries, as well as other mainstream and lead-acid battery types. The inverters include micro-grid functionality, a 4-millisecond backup switch, a 75A bypass current, and an IP66-rated enclosure. Recently, GoodWe was named a BNEF Tier 1 inverter supplier after surpassing 100GW of global installed capacity.
