US-based Enphase Energy expanded into the solar markets of Vietnam and Malaysia. It shipped IQ8P™ Microinverters for residential and commercial use. These microinverters had a peak AC output of 480 W. They supported solar modules up to 640 W DC. The first shipments to Thailand and the Philippines began last year.The IQ8P Microinverters were designed for energy conversion and safety. They handled a continuous DC current of 14 amperes. They included built-in rapid shutdown features. A 25-year limited warranty was provided in all four markets.Enphase expanded in Southeast Asia and it also collaborated with solar installers.
