Enphase Energy, Inc., headquartered in California, has announced that its residential and commercial IQ8 Microinverters now comply with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act. This compliance ensures Enphase microinverters manufactured in US facilities are eligible for commercial markets and federal projects, including the EPA’s $7 billion Solar for All initiative. The Solar for All program focuses on providing affordable solar energy to low-income and disadvantaged communities, particularly for multi-family housing and small commercial projects. Meeting BABA requirements has enabled Enphase microinverters to integrate into federally funded programs, supporting installers like ReVision Energy and Ideal Energy Solar in meeting regulatory standards. Enphase claims that its US-manufactured IQ8 Microinverters enhance project eligibility, promote domestic job creation, and support clean energy production.
