DAS Solar, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has showcased advanced products at Intersolar South America 2025 in São Paulo to address the region’s rising solar demand. DAS Solar has presented the 670 W Diamond series DBC back-contact module, a 670 W n-type self-cleaning module, and the 515 W ECOSKY lightweight module, which are tailored for challenging tropical environments. According to DAS Solar, its TOPCon 5.0 cells achieved over 27% efficiency with an open-circuit voltage of 746 mV, while its DBC 3.0 Plus module reached 27.3% cell efficiency and 24.3% module efficiency, surpassing 670 W output. The ECOSKY lightweight module, weighing 4.7 kg/m², was designed for rooftop compatibility in tropical and coastal regions across Latin America. Brazil, the largest PV market in Latin America, is projected to add 14.5 to 16.5 GW of capacity in 2025 and could reach 17 to 20 GW annually by 2030, representing nearly half of the continent’s installations. Earlier this year, DAS Solar has also deployed its n-type modules for desert restoration projects, highlighting additional applications beyond large-scale power generation.
