DAS Solar, a China-based PV module manufacturer, presented advanced n-type technologies at Solar & Storage Live 2025 in Birmingham, focusing on high-efficiency utility and residential solutions. The UK government’s Solar Roadmap has targeted capacity growth from 18 GW to 47 GW by 2030, with more than 2 GW installed and 3 GW of utility-scale projects under construction by 2025. DAS Solar highlighted its n-type TOPCon 5.0 cells, which achieved efficiency above 27% with an open-circuit voltage reaching 746 mV. The Diamond series DBC 3.0 Plus module was reported with 24.3% efficiency, output exceeding 670 W, and cell efficiency of 27.77%. For rooftop applications, DAS Solar has introduced a 475 W busbar-free DBC module, a 660 W all-black module, and a 515 W ECOSKY lightweight module weighing 4.7 kg/m². Earlier this year, DAS Solar unveiled high-efficiency modules at Intersolar South America, extending its international portfolio of advanced photovoltaic technologies.
