BrightNight, a US-based clean energy company, has won the 2025 CleanTech AI Innovation of the Year award for its PowerAlpha platform. According to BrightNight, PowerAlpha is designed to support the full lifecycle of hybrid power projects using artificial intelligence and data science. In the design phase, it evaluates millions of configurations based on geography, resources, and system layout to determine optimal setups. During development, it integrates financial modeling and risk forecasting to align decisions with long-term returns. Once operational, PowerAlpha acts as a control center, using a digital twin for real-time dispatch and performance improvement. As per CleanTech Breakthrough, the platform was recognized for its scalability and ability to meet rising grid demands with adaptable solutions. Recently, BrightNight and Cordelio Power were awarded a 300 MW clean energy PPA by Arizona Public Service.
