AIKO, a China-based manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells and modules, has launched its third-generation Infinite Series at All Energy Australia 2025 in Melbourne. The series has introduced the NEOSTAR 3P module, which is the world’s first 500 W solar panel under 2 sq mts with 25% efficiency. According to AIKO, the new module is built on All Back Contact (ABC) technology designed to deliver higher energy yields and reduced production costs. AIKO has applied its Two-Step Passivation process to independently optimize n-type and p-type layers for improved efficiency. AIKO has further replaced silver with copper interconnections to enhance conductivity, strength, and material durability. AIKO has also signed 1 GW supply agreements with Solar Juice, Tradezone, AC Solar Warehouse, Sol Distribution, and Lawrence & Hanson for deliveries between 2026 and 2028. Earlier this year, AIKO has supplied over 2,000 ABC modules for Pueblo Verde de Almonte, Spain’s largest 1.45 MW shared solar community powering 3,500 users across 20 rooftops.
