Huasun Energy, a China-based manufacturer of HJT modules, hosted a Europe-focused webinar with pv magazine recently. The session, similar to Huasun's prior webinar in TaiyangNews, has explored how vertical solar systems can address land constraints in Europe’s mountainous and coastal regions. Panelists from Huasun, Germany-based Next2Sun, Italy-based Lux s.r.l., and pv magazine discussed how vertical PV enables dual land use for agriculture and energy generation. Using Italy as a case study, they highlighted installation challenges and agrivoltaic potential. Huasun’s Kunlun series HJT modules, designed for vertical use, offer near-100% bifaciality, light conversion films, and adaptable mounting options. The discussion also covered European policies, including subsidy structures and electricity purchase schemes, that support agrivoltaics. Earlier this year, Huasun partnered with TÜV Rheinland to introduce a vertical PV testing framework at SNEC 2025.
