SunVest Solar has acquired and financed over 50MWof community solar projects in Illinois and Maine. The Illinois projects were obtained through a joint venture, while the Maine projects were developed internally. Construction is underway with completion anticipated by early 2025. To support these developments, SunVest secured an additional $55 million facility, supplementing a prior $85 million facility from August 2023. Notably, the Illinois projects will convert contaminated land into agrivoltaic sites with pollinator-friendly plants, enhancing their environmental impact.
