US-based EDP Renewables North America LLC (EDPR NA) and Meta have inaugurated the 200 MW Brittlebush Solar Park in Arizona, in partnership with Salt River Project (SRP)and Saint Holdings. As per EDPR NA, this facility will primarily power Meta’s data center in Mesa, supporting SRP’s 82% emissions reduction target by 2035. Brittlebush marks EDPR NA’s second Arizona solar project, expanding its state portfolio to 358 MW. The project created over 300 construction jobs and five permanent positions. EDPR NA’s collaboration with Meta extends to other SRP projects such as the 100 MW West Line Solar Facility and the 300 MW Eleven Mile Facility, aiding Meta’s 100% renewable energy and net-zero goal.
