SolarEdge Technologies, Inc., a global leader in smart energy technology, has made significant progress in its US manufacturing strategy due to the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The company launched its first facility in Austin, Texas, in late 2023, achieving a quarterly manufacturing run rate of 50,000 residential Home Hub Inverters by Q2 2024. A second facility in Seminole, Florida, shipped 20,000 domestic content Power Optimizers in the same quarter, with plans to ramp up to 2 million units per quarter. These efforts have created approximately 1,500 new jobs, expected to grow to 1,750 by the end of 2024. SolarEdge is committed to revitalizing US manufacturing and advancing the clean energy workforce, with plans to produce DC optimized inverter systems that meet domestic content standards by Q4 2024 for residential and early 2025 for commercial applications. This will help customers qualify for additional tax credits in solar installations.
