US-based N2OFF, Inc., a clean tech firm focused on sustainable energy and agri-tech, has provided an update on its Solar PV Joint Venture Project with UK-based Solterra Renewable Energy Ltd. According to Solterra, the project recently received approval to connect to the power grid in Meltz, Germany, with a grid connection capacity of 110 MW, exceeding the design requirement of 97 MW. Solterra claims this surplus offers two potential value-enhancing opportunities: a 10% project capacity expansion or integrating battery storage solutions. N2OFF and Solterra are currently assessing both options for optimizing efficiency and profitability. Even without immediate implementation, the increased capacity could enhance the project’s overall valuation, especially if sold later.
